Company president Greg Parker stands apart as one of the convenience store industry’s most respected executives. Honored for his commitment to technology, innovation and giving back, Greg has been recognized as the Savannah Morning News Entrepreneur of the Year and Convenience Store News Tech Executive of the Year.
Under his leadership, Parker’s has grown from a one-store operation in Midway, Georgia to a 51-store empire with state-of-the-art convenience stores located throughout coastal Georgia and the South Carolina Lowcountry.
Greg served as the chairman of the Research and Development Committee for the National Association of Convenience Stores and delivered the State of the Industry address for five consecutive years. Additionally, he has served as chairman of the BPAmoco Marketers Association, a member of Pepsi’s Retail Advisory Council and the Coca-Cola Retail Advisory Committee.
Greg is also active in the Petroleum Marketers Study Group, contributes to the World President’s Organization, serves on the Strategy Board for Amyris Biotech and leads an elite committee comprised of the nation’s top CEOs.
Greg is the proud father of three children and an active community leader, giving his time and resources to a number of non-profit organizations in Savannah. He serves on the board of the Savannah Economic Development Authority and on the foundation board at Memorial University Health Center. Additionally, he is leading a city-wide anti-litter campaign, serves as the chairman of the Mayor’s Business Roundtable, and served on the Mayor’s Crime Task Force.
He previously served as chairman of the Savannah Master Plan Task Force, was a member of the executive board of the Savannah Development and Renewal Authority and served on the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
